Naked Juice to pay out up to $75 per customer after Class Action Settlement over "natural" branding

If you’ve enjoyed any Naked Juice beverages like the Green Machine and Mighty Mango in the last six years, you could claim a piece of a $9 million class action settlement, ABC News reports.

The lawsuit filed against Naked Juice, owned by Pepsi Co. , was consolidated from five class action complaints regarding the company’s “100 percent juice”, “all natural” and other labeling.

The suit claims that the Naked Juice products listed on were not all natural and contained GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms).

While Naked Juice denies that the company violated laws and consumer protection statutes related to advertising, marketing and labeling, a $9 million settlement was reached.

Anyone whose purchased an eligible Naked Juice flavor between Sept. 27, 2007 and August 19, 2013 can send in a claim form electronically or through mail by Dec. …

The shipping industry has led to massive family fortunes all over the world, and the A.P. Moeller-Maersk family is far from the only one where the foundation for billion dollar holdings is built on owning and operating container ships, ports, and other shipping related businesses.

Analysts at Alphaliner published a survey on Tuesday listing the biggest family fortunes in shipping, with A.P. Moeller-Maersk and its family fund finishing 2nd out a total of 21 families on the Liner Shipping Billionaires 2013 survey.

Rendering of completed on-dock transloading facility that will accommodate a variety of reefer cargoes that will be delivered by ship to the Port of Tampa and then transported by train to the Midwest market.

Tampa Port Authority has signed a letter of intent with Green Express for the development of an on-dock transload and rail-served facility connecting the port to the Midwest.

The new GX express service is operated by CSX railroad, which will provide two dedicated express trains per week, connecting Tampa and the Chicago-Kingsbury, Ind., area in 56 hours. 

The GXRT train will serve a mix of refrigerated and dry products.

“We are proud to be part of this great initiative, together with the Green Express group and CSX Railroad,” 
said Paul Anderson, president and CEO of the Tampa Port Authority, in a written statement.
